Choosing Premium Finishes
Premium finishes should look great and perform well. Here’s how to choose materials that match your lifestyle and budget.
Prefer durable materials for high-traffic areas: engineered wood or premium tiles for floors, quality hardware for doors, and reliable waterproofing for wet zones.
Ask for technical specs—slip resistance, thickness, warranty, and maintenance needs. A beautiful finish that’s hard to maintain becomes frustrating over time.
Standardize where possible. Picking a consistent range of finishes reduces waste and simplifies procurement.
Plan lighting with finishes. The same surface can look very different under warm vs cool lighting—test samples in real conditions.
